Dear United Faculty of Florida-University of Florida (UFF-UF) Members:

As previously announced, it is time for the election of UFF-UF chapter officers for the 2025-2026 chapter year. As the chapter by-laws state: “The Nominating Committee shall seek candidates for, and conduct the annual election to fill, the positions of Chapter officers, UFF Senators, and delegates to the Florida Education Association Representative Assembly.” 

Due to the recent receipt of our chapter’s 2025-2026 UFF Senate and FEA Delegate allocations, as well as to give members more time to consider nominating themselves or others, the deadline for nominations has been extended to Saturday, March 15th. Note: nominations from the floor will also be accepted at our election meeting.

The following offices will be filled:
1. President
2. First Vice-President
3. Vice-President (4 positions)
4. Secretary
5. Treasurer
6. 13 FEA Delegates
7. 28 Senators

Candidates must be nominated by March 15th.

Nominations must be communicated to the Nominating Committee by email to the Nominating Committee at uff-uf-elections@googlegroups.com.

Each nomination shall include:
1. Full name of the UFF-UF dues-paying member
2. Nomination position
3. Contact phone number and/or non-work-related email address
